Thank you to everyone who attended the 23rd Annual Take Back the Night event in St. Cloud. A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Gracemarie Tellone Brown, for sharing her experience, knowledge, wisdom, and amazing musical abilities.
Thank you to all of the survivors of sexual violence and domestic violence who had the courage to get up on stage and share their personal stories. There will be the opportunity next year again to find your voice and break the silence surrounding the abuse that so many people experience.

Take Back the Night is a National event held in honor of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The event is held to raise awareness and to be an outlet for victims and survivors to reclaim their lives from violence.

Social Hour from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm, enjoy children’s activities, check-out the clothesline project, make a t-shirt, submit your story of violence anonymously, write words of encouragement to victim’s, see the silent witness display, enjoy music by KVSC, and informational tables on issues related to sexual violence and domestic violence.
Speakers 6:30 pm-8:00 pm, hear speakers from Central MN Sexual Assault Center, law enforcement, SCSU Women’s Center, and Anna Marie’s, and our keynote speaker, Gracemarie Brown, talk about violence against women in our community, and listen to survivors share their stories
March 8:00 pm-9:00 pm, walk through downtown St. Cloud to raise awareness of violence against women
Closing ceremony 9:00 pm, listen to inspirational words to end an empowering night
