1 in 3 women will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime.
1 in 4 women will be the victim of domestic violence.
Remember to check the weather on September 25 for Take Back the Night, dress in layers, the weather gets cool fast when the sun goes down.
Take Back the Night is a local event held in honor of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The event is held to raise awareness and to be an outlet for victims and survivors to reclaim their lives from violence.

Social Hour from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm, enjoy children’s activities, check-out the clothesline project, silent witness display, shoe project, photo booth or make a t-shirt, submit your story of violence anonymously, write words of encouragement to victim’s, enjoy music by Power Plant / Gracemarie along with informational tables on issues related to sexual violence and domestic violence.
Speakers 6:30 pm-8:00 pm, hear speakers from Central MN Sexual Assault Center, St. Cloud Law Eforcement, SCSU Women’s Center, and Anna Marie’s, and our keynote speaker, Donna Dunn; Executive Director of Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault addressing violence against women, the impact of trauma and the aspects of healing, and listen to survivors share their stories
March 8:00 pm-9:00 pm, walk through downtown and SCSU neighborhood in St. Cloud to raise awareness of violence against women
Closing ceremony 9:00 pm, listen to inspirational words to end an empowering night
