The theme for #SAAM is “Embrace Your Voice.”📢 As secondary survivors, we may feel that our voice doesn’t matter. But tomorrow, we will discuss why our voices are so important to primary survivors, ourselves, and our community. We can’t wait to see you at 5pm tomorrow!

Our Concerned Person’s Support is for anyone who knows someone who was sexually assaulted and wants to learn more about how to support the survivor and heal themselves. Walk-in’s welcome.

The VA Clothesline Project is back again to honor survivors of Military Sexual Trauma (MST), sexual abuse, and sexual assault! The project includes three separate dates (April 24, 25, & 26) to attend and view the clothesline. In addition, a speaker on the Neurobiology of Trauma will present on April 25th at 5:00 pm. All events will be held in the Auditorium (Bldg. 8).  #SAAM #MSTisonetypeofSV

Come celebrate the healing power and strength of survivors and their allies by joining us for fun coping skill/self-care activities on Sunday, April 29th from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Courtyard Marriott hotel in downtown St. Cloud! Looking for a way to get involved in working against sexual violence?

Attend the next #StopTraffickingTuesdays event at Shear Dynamics Salon in Waite Park on April 3rd from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm! A minimum of 15% of the sales will be going directly towards services provided at The Central MN Sexual Assault Center! Shear Dynamics will also be providing FREE Ultimate conditioning treatments with any hair💇‍♂️💇‍♀️ service as well as donating 20% of all product sales to CMSAC!

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for “The Mask of Rape Culture Project” on April 3rd from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm on the campus of St. Cloud State University! From 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm look for masked individuals around campus. And from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, please join us in the Cascade room at Atwood for a discussion on rape culture, healing, the realities, and helping a friend. This project’s primary focus is to demonstrate how rape culture harms survivors by masking their humanity.

Prom It Forward has successfully raised over 5,000 dollars to go towards services for survivors we serve here at the Central MN Sexual Assault Center! Help us reach 6,000 by purchasing one of their formal gowns, before the dresses are no longer available or are boxed up for next year!
