A special thanks to Zonta St Cloud for your generous donation to CMSAC, which allows us to continue our important work with survivors of sexual violence! And congratulations to the other non-profits honored, including Anna Marie’s Alliance!
Tonight we will discuss the losses that secondary survivors feel after witnessing their partner, friend, coworker, child, parent, or family member go through sexual violence and how we begin to heal from such a loss.
Walk-ins welcome! Light refreshments available.
Txt4Life has been replaced by Crisis Text Line by texting MN to 741741. In addition to the crisis text line, survivors can call us at (320) 251-4357 and speak with a sexual assault advocate 24/7.
Good Morning! CMSAC is looking for gas and grocery gift cards for a couple families whom have experienced multiple acts of violence, including sexual violence. Any gift card amount will be very helpful to these families and help prevent homelessness, hunger and other negative impacts from these crimes. Ideas: Wal-Mart, Target, grocery stores, gas cards from any gas station.
Thank you for your time and consideration! Gift Card or other donations can be completed through our PayPal account here: https://bit.ly/2rf3kvC or by dropping them off at 15 Riverside Drive NE St Cloud, MN 56304.
Update: Our Celebration of Healing event is coming up on Sunday (4/29) from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown St. Cloud and our Facebook event attendance is now at 52! Let’s help increase these numbers by sharing this post or inviting all your survivor and ally friends to this event! By sharing you help allow an opportunity for a survivor or ally to honor their healing through fun self-care activities! #SAAM
The theme for #SAAM is “Embrace Your Voice.”📢 As secondary survivors, we may feel that our voice doesn’t matter. But tomorrow, we will discuss why our voices are so important to primary survivors, ourselves, and our community. We can’t wait to see you at 5pm tomorrow!
Our Concerned Person’s Support is for anyone who knows someone who was sexually assaulted and wants to learn more about how to support the survivor and heal themselves. Walk-in’s welcome.
CMSAC staff would like to take a moment to honor and thank our very dedicated and hardworking volunteer sexual assault advocates for all that you do!
Thank you for your countless hours of service, your validating and supportive nature when working for survivors, and your dedication to this difficult yet rewarding work! Thank you! #NVW
