SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19TH FROM NOON UNTIL 2PM: PROMISE NEIGHBORHOOD WILL BE HOSTING A COMMUNITY LISTENING SESSION TO HEAR COMMUNITY CONCERNS, IDEAS AND SUGGESTIONS ABOUT CURRENT PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES. WE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO HEAR SUGGESTIONS FROM THE COMMUNITY ABOUT FUTURE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES. LIGHT LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED. THIS EVENT IS BEING COORDINATED BY THE WOMENS GROUP AND THE COMMUNITY ADVISORY GROUP.

Women’s Sexual Violence Recovery – Central MN Sexual Assault Center staff will be starting a 12 session   psycho-educational shame-resilience group on Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 3:00 pm-4:30 pm at 15 Riverside Drive NE, St. Cloud, MN  56304.  This group will be an open group and will be every Thursday, please fill out a support group intake form, see support group  page on website, http://www.cmsac.org, or call and have staff send you a hard copy of the form.  Intake form will need to be filled out and sent in prior to joining group!

Our fall volunteer advocate training is fast approaching!  It will begin on Monday, October 7.  You never know how much impact you may have on someone’s life just by being a listening ear!  Check out the volunteer section of our website or contact Renae at 320-251-4357 for more information.  Applications due ASAP!

Please join the St. Cloud community in bringing awareness to the issue of violence against women.  1 in 3 women will be a victim of sexual assault in their lifetimes.  1 in 4 women will be a victim of domestic violence.  Let’s stop the violence.  Join us for the 23rd annual TAKE BACK THE NIGHT rally and march.
