      The Stearns Benton Child Protection Team is thrilled to announce an incredible training opportunity titled, “Sex Offenders – What You Don’t Know.”  Presenting will be Corey Jewell Jensen, M.S., a renowned expert with a cutting edge presentation utilizing actual perpetrator videos and case studies and the latest and most authoritative information and research.  What you will learn will surprise you.

       

      Cory Jewell Jensen is the Co‐Director of the Center for Behavioral Intervention in Beaverton, Oregon.  She has worked with adult sex offenders and their families for 28 years and provided training /consultation to the National Center for the Prosecution of Child Abuse, the US Navy, the Mark McGwire Foundation for Children, a number of law enforcement and advocacy and  faith based organizations. She served as Executive Director for the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers and chaired two of the ATSA’s International Research and Treatment Conferences. She is an instructor for Portland State University’s Child Welfare Training Institute and Oregon’s policy academy. She has published a number of articles related to sex offender treatment and risk management. She has testified as an expert witness in local and federal courts.
