Next Monday, September 23, we will be hosting a visit and presentation by Tony Porter about the importance of men’s engagement and leadership to end men’s violence against women. Thirteen campus co-sponsors have united to end the status quo of male violence and facilitate a call for a more progressive definition of masculinity. Porter will speak from
6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Atwood Ballroom next Monday. The event is free and open to the public. Please share this event with men in your life and consider joining us!

CMSAC will be hosting its fall 40-Hour Volunteer Sexual Assault Advocacy Training starting Monday, October 7. The training will consist of Monday evenings and two Saturdays. Central MN Sexual Assault Center will be the beneficiary of an Eat Wings, Raise Funds event at Buffalo Wild Wings on Monday, September 16 from 11 am-9 pm. Print the ticket below (also on donation page) or let them know that you are there for the Sexual Assault Center and 10% of your order ticket will go to CMSAC, dine-in or take-out.
On Sunday September 8 at 2 pm, Promise Neighborhood, Promise Neighborhood Women’s group and the Youth Coalition will be hosting a baseball/ softball game to show our support for ending domestic violence, human trafficking and sexual assault. The game, against Youth Coalition members, is open to females of all ages. Location is 1114 9th Avenue SE.
