Shoutout to our advocate Kaitlyn for leading this self-care project! We painted jars, made pipe cleaner flowers, and added ✨fairy lights💫. It's so cool to see everyone's unique style and talents during these activities! The snowstorm did not stop us from our annual holiday dinner. This year we chose to support small, thank you for the delicious food Don Chuy Taqueria! ❄✨ And by stuff we mean anything trauma-informed and client centered 🌻 A special thank you to Isaiah W. at The Breakroom 24/7 for the wonderful donation of warm clothing, scarfs, and infant items. Donations are an actionable step that you can do! They directly go to victim/survivors of sexual violence. 🧣❄ Hello community members and business owners! We need your support, please share this post!✨ Each year, this event brings our community together to stand with survivors of sex trafficking and sexual violence. Last year, thanks to generous supporters, we raised money to help CMSAC provide life-changing services; crisis response, free counseling, and safe resources for survivors to rebuild their lives. All sponsorship money raised goes directly towards assisting victim/survivors in our local community. In the past we have provided cell phones, gas gift cards, and security cameras to assist survivors in feeling safer. This past Friday was Jaicee’s last day as an intern at CMSAC. We are so grateful to have had your caring and bubbly personality at the Center. You have made an impact in this work. Congratulations on graduation, we are proud of you! 💘🎉👏🏼 While we understand that healing tools are not a one size fit all, here are a few that may be perfect for you! 💫 #sexualassaultawareness Some reminders this Thanksgiving Eve, remember to practice C.A.R.E.!🍂 At CMSAC, we are committed to providing a safe space for victims and survivors of sexual violence.
