Last week our staff took some time for a self-care craft led by Bri. We painted wood rounds and transformed them into spooky season decor! Here's your sign to take some time for yourself this week to do art, make music, or another creative activity that brings you peace. CMSAC was invited to table for a local church for their Hispanic Heritage Month celebration event. Sexual violence disproportionately affect the Latinx community which is why we are always so grateful when community members recognize the importance of our services being made aware in those specific communities that are disproportionately affected. We got to hang out with other community orgs, eat great food, and be in great community!!💫✨ Mark your calendars! CMTBTN will take place on Thursday, October 8 at Riverside Terrace (195 River Ave S) in Sauk Rapids. We are doing a gathering with tabling and speakers at 5:30 and will start the candlelight vigil at 7:00. This year’s speaker is Ana Maria from Standpoint, and our focus is on immigration and honoring the lives lost within our service area/community over the past 18 months. CMSAC has had the opportunity to table and be on the planning for the 4th year in a row for the Hispanic Heritage Celebration in event. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful community full of joy, culture, and love 💘 Wellness is a lifelong journey and every person has different wellness needs. Self-care and improving can feel overwhelming at times. Breaking wellness into these different areas can help us reflect on what’s going well and areas that need improvement. We are super excited to be tabling and on the planning committee for the upcoming Hispanic Heritage Celebration! 🌟 Join us at Lake George to be in community with yummy food, live music, and community resources 🌸✨💙 CMSAC is on the planning committee for the Hispanic Heritage Month event that is taking place on Saturday, September 12th.
