Tabling at SCTCC for their Cyclone Alley! Thanks for having us again this year. It was a blast getting to meet students and staff ✨ Sometimes we like to be trendy, and we think advocacy is kinda chic💙✨ We have some great workbooks, coping skills, and tools that we recommend for clients. Reach out to us for more info! 📚📚 This person believes you. This person will not victim blame you. This person can be a support and a friend. 💗 At CMSAC we call it the healing journey. We want to reminder individuals that healing is a continuous journey, rather than a destination. What may work for one individual, may not be helpful for someone else. You may realize that tools, self-care, and even your own thoughts or perspective may appear different depending on where you are in your journey. There is no wrong way to heal, as long as it is safe for you and others. You deserve healing and safety, always!✨🌸 Just a reminder that it IS okay to do all these things. A part of healing is taking back that power and control and reminding yourself that you deserve to give yourself grace. @stcloudfloral thank you for making our day! We are an office of plant and flower lovers. You can imagine our smiles when we receive a sweet gift of flowers 💐 Last week, CMSAC partnered with Beaver Island for Tending for a Cause. Thank you to Beaver Island for training our advocates to be bartenders for the night. We appreciate all the community members who showed up to support CMSAC! 🍻✨ CMSAC was 1 of 97 nonprofits who received $2,500 grants as a part of Old National Bank’s annual Choose Your Charity campaign. We are so grateful for everyone in the community who voted for CMSAC. Thank you, Old National Bank, for your generosity! This will go directly towards supporting victim/survivors in our community.
