April 22-April 28 marks National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. In Minnesota, we remember victims of all forms of crime. We remember how far we’ve come in securing the rights of crime victims’ and yet how far we still have to go to ensure that every victim of a crime receives sensitive and comprehensive help. Some may wonder what can I do to make a difference, and simply to “Start by Believing” can make all the difference in the world. Later this week, we will have a post with websites that you can check out for more information and ideas on how to get involved and make a difference! Remember April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month!
